International Programmes Office

International Programmes Office aims at intensifying and developing international links between Cracow University of Economics and other academic, professional and educational institutions from all over the world. We apply for EU grants and develop international educational and research cooperation programmes.

International Programmes Office was established at the University in 1994. Since that time the IPO:
  • opened a semester programme in English on economy in business “English Track”– the first programme of this kind in Poland
  • started regular studies in English in International Business on Bachelor and Master level
  • initiated and coordinated cooperation with around 200 partner universities from all over the world
  • has 15 years experience in applying and managing EU funds
IPO provides also services for the outgoing and incoming students as well as for the faculties  in the following areas:
  • counselling on procedures for participation in studies and lecturing abroad
  • counselling for international and Polish students on programmes offered in English
  • providing administrative support for the semestral „English Track” programme and regular studies in English language in International Busines and Corporate Finance and Accounting
  • preparing and coordinating mobility programmes Erasmus, CEEPUS with around 200 partner Universities
  • cooperating with university networks, such as: EMBS, NIBES, EBC
  • initiating new educational programmes, such as: The Scandinavian Module, Seminars with Professionals
  • providing administrative support and managing the agreements for double diplomas with universities in France and Germany
  • coordinating student and faculty exchange within bilateral agreements and governmental scholarships (Japan, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, USA, Canada, Taiwan),
  • advertising in Poland and abroad the programmes in English offered at CUE
  • preparation and implementing TEMPUS projects,
  • organizing language courses for faculties of CUE
  • organizing and coordinating Summer Schools and Erasmus Intensive Programmes
