Double Diploma

One of the most attractive offers of University is the possibility to get the double diploma. Since 2002 several dozen of students have taken this possibility. Every year several people get the diploma of the University of Economics in Krakow and at the same time the diploma of Partner University. Graduates who take this opportunity do not have major problems with finding a job.

Double Diploma is the combination of very good academic background which University of Economics provides and practical background which offers Partner University. Every student who approaches this Programme during his staying abroad can or must (depending on University) take part in at least few-months internship. During courses student has contact with lecturers who also occupy the positions in big European companies. It has an enormous influence on practical side of education, because lecturers share their experiences with students, and Universities help to find an internship in companies.

Dean MUST agree for student's mobility in order to make Double Diploma Programme. During this programme students are obliged to get 30 ECTS points in every semester on Partner University and write diploma thesis. The subject of thesis should be accepted by both Universities. If student chooses other faculty on the Partner University, before going he should:
- pass programme differences in relation to programme minimum,
- get the individual programme of studying and submit thesis relevant to faculty in home university,
- be in permanent contact with Polish promoter.

International Office should have all information about these contacts (phone numbers, e-mails, etc.).

University tries to expand the list of schools, in which students can get additional diploma.
